ademola lookman 2024 CAF Player of the year
Ademola Lookman, Nigerian and Atlanta forward have won the African Player of the Year ahead Cote d’lvoire and Brighton & Hove Albion winger, Simon Adingra, Borussia Dortmund and Guinea international striker Serhou Guirassy, Paris Saint-Germain, Morocco right-back Achraf Hakimi and Mamelodi Sundowns and South Africa goalkeeper Ronwen Williams.
Sportview has it that this is coming he helped his Italian Seria A side Atlanta to become title contenders and also wining the UEFA Europa League trophy 2024 which become their first major trophy for 61 years.
Becoming the only team in the 2023 – 24 Europa campaign to beat German Bundesliga Bayer Leverkusen, Lookman scored a hat-trick during the finals. He had one of the greatest final displays at the European football history.
Lookman also help Nigeria reach the Africa Cup of Nations finals, Cote d’Ivoire 2023 though the lost to the host country.
Ademola Lookman also was a Ballon d’Or nominee in the 2024 award.
